Job Description
- Counsel students on higher education opportunities across European destinations such as Germany, UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and other European countries.
- Understand each student’s academic background, career goals, preferred destination, budget, intake, and overall eligibility before recommending suitable study options.
- Provide accurate and updated information regarding universities, courses, tuition fees, scholarships, admission requirements, cost of living, intakes, and career prospects.
- Shortlist suitable universities and programs based on the student’s academic profile, eligibility, career interests, budget, university requirements, and available scholarships.
- Conduct detailed student profiling and identify the most appropriate study pathway based on academic strengths, interests, and future career plans.
- Guide students in preparing application-related documents such as SOPs, LORs, CVs, academic documents, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure student profiles and documents are complete and application-ready before handing them over to the Application/Processing Team.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including application submission, offer conditions, fee payment, deposit requirements, and university documentation.
- Provide basic guidance regarding visa processes, financial documentation, interview preparation, and destination-specific requirements in coordination with the Visa Team.
- Maintain strong and consistent follow-ups with students throughout the counselling, application, admission, deposit, visa, and enrolment stages.
- Maintain accurate student records, counselling remarks, follow-up dates, application details, and progress updates in CRM or internal tracking systems.
- Ensure all student interactions, pending actions, and next follow-up dates are updated accurately and on time.
- Build strong professional relationships with students by providing personalized, transparent, and timely counselling support.
- Respond to student queries promptly and ensure concerns are addressed or escalated to the appropriate department without unnecessary delay.
- Coordinate closely with the Team Lead, Application Team, Processing Team, Visa Team, Finance Team, and other internal departments for smooth handling of student cases.
- Coordinate with university representatives, partner institutions, and admissions teams whenever required for student-related queries and application support.
- Track student movement from lead → counselling → application → offer → deposit → visa → enrolment and ensure timely action at every stage.
- Identify high-potential students and prioritize follow-ups based on intake timelines, application readiness, and conversion possibility.
- Identify reasons for student drop-offs, delayed decisions, or non-conversions and take corrective follow-up actions.
- Ensure students receive accurate information and avoid making false or unverified commitments regarding admissions, scholarships, visa approvals, or university outcomes.
- Participate in seminars, education fairs, workshops, webinars, student engagement programs, and other promotional activities related to overseas education.
