Accounts Officer

An Accounts Officer in the corrugation/packaging industry manages day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory valuation. They ensure accurate data entry for raw materials (paper) and finished goods, often handling GST/TDS compliance and supporting monthly closures.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Costing: Tracking raw materials, tracking stock records, and preparing landed costs for materials.
• Accounts Receivable/Payable: Managing customer invoicing and supplier payments, crucial for cash flow in manufacturing.
• Financial Recording: Maintaining ledgers, bank reconciliations, and supporting monthly/annual closing.
• Taxation & Compliance: Handling GST, TDS, and other local tax requirements.
• ERP Utilization: Working with ERP systems like Tally for financial data.
