Job Description


Job Title: Chemistry Teacher (Middle / High School)Job OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a love for scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and laboratory exploration among our students. As a residential school, you will play a key role in guiding students through academic excellence, managing after-school academic support or science clubs, and supervising students in a campus environment.


  • Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Curriculum Delivery: Plan, structure, and deliver high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons and laboratory sessions across middle and high school grade levels, aligning with the international curriculum.
  • Lab Management & Safety: Take the lead in managing the chemistry laboratory, maintaining inventory of chemicals and apparatus, and strictly enforcing proper safety protocols during all experimental activities.
  • Academic Development: Identify and nurture scientific talent, preparing students for competitive exams, science exhibitions, and board examinations while supporting students who need extra academic help.
  • Assessment & Mentorship: Regularly assess student progress through fair evaluation methods, provide constructive feedback, and maintain meticulous records of academic growth.
  • Residential Duties: Actively participate in the school's residential life, managing evening study hours (prep), offering academic supervision, and contributing to campus student care.
  • Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc / M.Sc) along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching Chemistry at the school level, preferably in a residential or international school environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to simplify complex chemical concepts.
  • Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment and executing safe, educational experiments.
  • Excellent organizational, classroom-management, and digital teaching abilities.
