Job Description

Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Job Role & Responsibilities

  1. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  2. Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and dealers to increase market coverage.
  3. Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
  4. Plan and execute market visits to generate new business opportunities.
  5. Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies in the assigned area.
  6. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and provide regular feedback to management.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
  8. Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
  9. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports.
  10. Conduct product training and sales coaching sessions to improve team productivity and performance.

Key Objective:

To drive sales growth, expand market presence, and ensure efficient management of the assigned sales territory.
