Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee production activities in our Heavy Engineering Machine and Fabrication Shop. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in managing fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, manpower planning, production scheduling, quality compliance, and timely delivery of projects. Candidates with relevant experience in the same industry only should apply.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Manage fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and related shop-floor operations.
• Prepare and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments for smooth workflow.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and production costs; implement improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor personnel.
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure preventive maintenance planning and minimize machine downtime.
• Prepare production reports and MIS for management review.
