Job Description
PRODUCTION PLANNING FROM SALES ORDER TO DISPATCH
Job Title: Production Planning Executive / Manager (PPC)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Order Review: Receive and review Sales Orders (SO) from the sales team to convert them into production schedules.
Production Scheduling: Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on machine capacity, raw material availability, and delivery deadlines.
Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
Shop Floor Execution: Monitor daily production targets, address line bottlenecks, and ensure smooth shop-floor operations.
Quality & Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Warehouse/Logistics teams for final inspection, packing, and timely dispatch of finished goods.
Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, track plan vs. actual output, and update ERP systems regularly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPC / Production Operations).
- Strong knowledge of Sales Order to Dispatch workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP software and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
