Job Summary

PC Care Technologies Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Computer Hardware & Networking Field Engineer for onsite customer support and field service operations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and support of computer hardware, networking systems, printers, UPS systems, Wi-Fi devices, and office automation equipment at client locations.

The role requires regular field visits, customer handling, and technical problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

1. Computer Hardware Support

• Installation and configuration of Desktop Computers, Workstations, and Peripherals.
• Troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues.
• Replacement of faulty hardware components.
• Preventive maintenance and routine servicing of systems.

2. Networking & Wi-Fi Support

• Installation and configuration of Networking Devices such as Routers, Switches, Access Points, and Wi-Fi Devices.
• LAN setup, network troubleshooting, and internet connectivity support.
• Crimping and punching of LAN cables.
• Rack dressing and cable management.
• Basic IP configuration and network diagnostics.

3. Printer & UPS Support

• Installation and maintenance of Printers (LaserJet, Inkjet, Dot Matrix, Multifunction Printers).
• Troubleshooting printer connectivity and driver-related issues.
• UPS installation, battery checking, and troubleshooting.

4. Office Automation Equipment Support

• Installation and support of office automation equipment and related IT devices.
• Coordination with clients for smooth functioning of office IT infrastructure.

5. Field Service Operations

• Visiting client locations for complaint resolution and installation work.
• Attending service calls within committed timelines.
• Providing onsite technical support and customer assistance.
• Maintaining service reports and work completion updates.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Updating service logs and daily work reports.
• Coordinating with the office support team regarding pending calls and material requirements.
• Maintaining proper inventory usage records during field visits.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Networking and Wi-Fi Configuration.
• LAN Cable Crimping & Punching Skills.
• Printer and UPS troubleshooting knowledge.
• Basic understanding of IP addressing and network devices.
• Ability to handle field work independently.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.

Preferred Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / Graduation in Computer Hardware, Networking, IT, or related field.
• Fresher or experienced candidates may apply.
• Candidates having field service experience will be preferred.

Nature of Job

• Complete Field Support Role.
• Daily onsite customer visits.
