Shawarma Sutra is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and maintain consistent food quality across our QSR kitchen.

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate should have strong practical experience and specialization in:

• Arabic / Middle Eastern Cuisine
• North Indian Cuisine
• Fast Food / QSR Cuisine
• Recipe execution and standardization
• Food preparation, portion control & presentation
• Kitchen operations and team management
• Inventory, wastage and food-cost control
• Maintaining consistency during high-volume operations

🛡️ Food Safety & StandardsThe candidate must have a good understanding of:

• Food safety and hygiene practices
• Kitchen sanitation and personal hygiene
• Proper food storage and temperature control
• FIFO / FEFO practices
• Cross-contamination prevention
• Basic food safety standards and kitchen SOPs
• Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
• Candidates without a degree/diploma may also apply if they have prior experience working in a QSR environment and can demonstrate strong practical culinary skills.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional kitchen experience is mandatory.
• Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise day-to-day kitchen operations
• Train and manage kitchen staff
• Ensure recipes and portion sizes are followed accurately
• Maintain food quality and consistency
• Develop and improve recipes where required
• Monitor food costs, wastage and inventory
• Implement and maintain kitchen SOPs
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Handle high-volume QSR operations efficiently
• Coordinate preparation and production for smooth service

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, disciplined, quality-focused and capable of independently managing a professional QSR kitchen.

Candidates with experience in established QSRs, restaurants, cloud kitchens or high-volume food operations will be preferred.
