Job Description

Collection Supervisor – Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the collection team.
  • Monitor collection targets and ensure timely recovery of overdue payments.
  • Allocate accounts and assign daily tasks to field executives/collection officers.
  • Track team performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines during collections.
  • Conduct field visits and support the team in resolving difficult recovery cases.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve productivity.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments regarding collection updates.
  • Verify field visits, attendance, and productivity of collection staff.
  • Handle customer escalations and negotiate repayment plans when required.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of collection reports.
  • Achieve monthly collection targets while maintaining service quality.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of collection executives.
  • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company SOPs within the team.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Graduate or HS pass in any discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in collections/recovery, with team handling experience.
  • Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
  • Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for field visits entire North East.
