Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant who enjoys numbers, accuracy, and building systems in a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
• Record purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries
• Prepare GST returns and ensure statutory compliance
• Handle TDS, PF, ESI, and other tax-related filings
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor payments
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Maintain payroll records and employee reimbursements
• Ensure proper documentation of invoices and financial records
• Support budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• 2+ years of accounting experience (startup experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
• Experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with automotive, logistics, or service businesses
• Knowledge of inventory accounting
• Understanding of startup finance and compliance
