Senior Manager - Data Scientist (Generative AI and Data Analytics)

Responsibilities: 

AI Program & Project Management 

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of AI/GenAI projects. 

• Develop project charters, roadmaps, implementation plans, budgets, and timelines. 

• Manage multiple concurrent AI initiatives while ensuring alignment with business priorities. 

• Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics. 

• Establish governance models and reporting mechanisms for AI programs. 

Stakeholder Management 

• Collaborate with executive leadership to define AI transformation roadmaps. 

• Engage cross-functional teams including business, IT, data engineering, AI engineering, legal, security, and compliance. 

• Communicate project status, risks, mitigation plans, and business impact to senior stakeholders. 

• Drive alignment between technical teams and business objectives. 

AI Delivery & Execution 

• Oversee AI solution lifecycle from ideation through deployment and adoption. 

• Coordinate activities across data scientists, ML engineers, architects, and product teams. 

• Ensure successful transition of AI solutions from PoC to production. 

• Monitor project performance, delivery quality, and realization of business benefits. 

• Drive Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies. 

Risk, Compliance & Governance 

• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. 

• Ensure adherence to Responsible AI principles and governance frameworks. 

• Manage compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and organizational standards. 

• Establish AI project documentation, audit readiness, and quality controls. 

Team Leadership 

• Lead and mentor project managers, business analysts, and delivery teams. 

• Promote best practices in AI project management and delivery excellence. 

• Support talent development and capability building within the AI organization. 

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
