About the role  

As a Networking Architect - Cisco ACI Specialization, you will define enterprise Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure strategies and architect next-generation data center, campus, and hybrid-cloud networking solutions. We will count on you to lead complex multi-site ACI transformations, establish architecture standards, drive automation and security innovation, and mentor senior technical teams. Along the way, you will get to:  

• Develop enterprise ACI architecture strategies, multi-site and multi-pod fabric designs, spine-leaf topologies, migration roadmaps, reference architectures, and modernization recommendations. 

• Lead ACI implementation architecture covering APIC clusters, tenants, application profiles, endpoint groups, contracts, QoS, Multi-Pod, Multi-Site, overlays, and external connectivity. 

• Architect policy, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, API integrations, monitoring, analytics, microsegmentation, zero-trust, compliance, and security-tool integrations. 

• Design data center, campus, cloud, SD-WAN, and container integrations; lead governance and reviews; mentor architects and engineers; and influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

What we’re looking for 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) 

• Minimum 12+ years of enterprise network architecture and engineering experience  

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Cisco ACI design, implementation, and administration  

• Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying large-scale, multi-site ACI fabrics  

• Proven track record of leading complex network transformation and modernization projects  

• Experience designing and implementing data center network architectures  

• Demonstrated expertise in network security architecture and microsegmentation 

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing & Switching or Enterprise Infrastructure  

• Cisco Certified Specialist - Data Center (CCNP Data Center or equivalent)  

• Cisco Certified Specialist - ACI (CCNA Data Center or CCNP Data Center with ACI focus) 

• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, components, and deployment models  

• Deep understanding of application-centric networking principles and implementation  

• Advanced knowledge of APIC management, clustering, and high-availability configurations  

• Proficiency in designing Tenant, ANP, EPG, and Contract policies  

• Strong expertise in VXLAN, overlay networking, and encapsulation technologies  

• Advanced knowledge of ACI security policies, microsegmentation, and compliance  

• Proficiency in ACI REST APIs and programmatic configuration  

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for ACI  

• Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS)  

• Knowledge of data center networking architectures and best practices  

• Experience with network monitoring, analytics, and troubleshooting tools  

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash)  

• Understanding of cloud networking and hybrid cloud architectures
