Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical, experienced, and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations for spare parts export. The ideal candidate will be accountable for managing a dynamic team of 20-25 personnel, ensuring seamless inwarding, optimal pallet planning, and maximizing container loads. This role requires exceptional coordination with procurement and sales teams to guarantee timely dispatches, zero material damage, and high overall productivity. If you have a strong background in B2B shipments or export operations and possess advanced Excel and analytical skills, we want you to drive our operational excellence.

Team Structure


Direct Reports: 4-5 Warehouse Supervisors

Indirect Reports: 15+ Pickers and Packers

Total Team Size: 20-25 Employees

Key Responsibilities


1. Operations & Workflow Management


Oversee the end-to-end warehouse operations, including the inwarding of all materials, quality checks, and proper storage allocation.

Plan and execute daily loading schedules to align with dispatch timelines and shipping requirements.

Ensure high productivity levels across the warehouse floor by optimizing picking, packing, and loading processes.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.

2. Container & Pallet Planning


Strategically plan container fulfillment to maximize load capacity and space utilization.

Oversee pallet planning and stacking to ensure stability and safety during transit.

Implement best practices in material handling to ensure absolutely no damage to spare parts during storage, handling, and loading.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration


Work closely with the Procurement Team to anticipate incoming shipments, manage inventory levels, and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with the Sales Team to understand dispatch priorities, meet customer deadlines, and provide accurate fulfillment updates.

Report directly to the GM Operations, providing regular updates on warehouse performance, challenges, and strategic improvements.

4. Data Analysis & Reporting


Utilize advanced Excel and analytical skills to track inventory, forecast space requirements, and analyze operational bottlenecks.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse productivity, dispatch accuracy, and container utilization.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.

Operational Efficiency: Streamlining inwarding, picking, packing, and loading processes to reduce turnaround time.

Space & Load Optimization: Maximizing container fill rates and optimizing warehouse layout for maximum storage capacity.

Quality & Damage Control: Ensuring zero damage to materials during warehouse handling and transit preparation.

Team Leadership & Productivity: Managing, training, and motivating a team of 20-25 staff to achieve high productivity and low error rates.

Cross-Functional Synergy: Maintaining seamless communication and operational alignment with Procurement and Sales departments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


Container Utilization Rate: Target > 95% volume/weight utilization per container.

On-Time Dispatch Rate (OTD): Target > 98% of shipments dispatched as per the planned schedule.

Damage Rate: Target 0% material damage during handling and loading.

Inventory Accuracy: Target > 99% accuracy during cycle counts and audits.

Inwarding Turnaround Time (TAT): Average time taken from material arrival to binning/storage.

Labor Productivity: Measured by units picked/packed per hour or containers loaded per shift.

Cost per Unit Shipped: Monitoring and reducing operational costs associated with warehouse activities.

Qualifications & Requirements


Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of warehouse management experience, specifically in the export of materials or managing B2B shipments. Experience in the spare parts industry is highly preferred.

Analytical Skills: Very high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and strong overall analytical skills to interpret data and optimize operations.

Leadership: Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling teams of 20+ employees, including supervisors and floor staff.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of export documentation, container loading dynamics, palletization, and warehouse safety standards.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and reporting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
