Sales Team Leader

  ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES -: GOVERNMENT SALES TEAM LEADER

1. Updating prices, stock, and product availability regularly

2. Ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines and policies

3. Optimizing catalog for better visibility and ranking

4. Handling product approvals and modifications

5. Managing multiple seller IDs and product categories

6. Checking competitor pricing and catalog positioning

7.  Resolving catalog-related errors and rejections

8.  Coordinating with OEMs and brands for authorization

9.   Monitoring product performance and visibility

10.  Ensuring correct category mapping of products

11.   Supporting sales team with catalog-related requirements

12.  Identifying business opportunities on GeM ( Government e marketplace) portal

13.   Coordinating with catalog team for product alignment

14.   Communicating with government buyers and departments

15.  Following up for order confirmation and processing

16.   Handling buyer queries and clarifications

17.    Ensuring compliance with GeM rules and documentation

18.   Building long-term relationships with government clients

19 Should have experience government tendering on GeM portal.

20 Government sales experience required

21 Business generation from existing government clients throughout PAN India

22 Should have experience of handling government clients in business generation through direct orders and tender participation

23 Should have experience of team handling, system knowledge, MS Excel, MS Word, E mails

24 Coordination and proper follow up with internal and external members for business development and sales increment
