Role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who can understand industrial requirements, identify opportunities and convert them into business.

This is not a desk-only sales role. The candidate will be expected to communicate with plant personnel, understand applications, generate leads and make customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new B2B leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and field visits

Identify and approach manufacturing plants, factories and industrial companies

Speak with Purchase, Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Stores and Operations teams

Understand customer requirements and convert them into suitable technical solutions

Prepare quotations and coordinate with suppliers/manufacturing partners

Follow up on enquiries, quotations and pending orders

Conduct customer visits and develop long-term relationships

Coordinate internally for drawings, specifications, costing and delivery

Maintain proper records of leads, enquiries, quotations and sales activities

Develop new accounts and achieve monthly sales targets

Products / Solutions

The candidate will work across products such as:

CNC/VMC precision-machined components

Custom fabricated components and assemblies

Industrial trolleys and material-handling equipment

Storage racks and line-side material systems

SS/MS fabricated products

Industrial hoses, fittings and connectors

Thermal insulation and heat-management solutions

Maintenance and MRO components

Jigs, fixtures and custom engineering solutions

Requirements

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred

1–3 years of experience in industrial/B2B technical sales preferred

Good understanding of engineering drawings and basic manufacturing processes

Ability to understand technical requirements

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Comfortable with cold calling and customer visits

Good follow-up and lead-management discipline

Willingness to travel for customer meetings within Delhi NCR and nearby industrial areas

Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email and CRM/lead tracking

A candidate who only wants inbound enquiries or office-based sales will not be suitable.
