Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Café Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the café and ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, service, and retail teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily café operations and overall staff coordination
• Supervise kitchen, bar, service, and retail teams
• Prepare and manage staff rosters, attendance, leaves, and punctuality
• Maintain staff discipline, grooming, and professional conduct
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of the café
• Monitor customer service and handle complaints professionally
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards
• Track inventory, stock levels, wastage, and ordering requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
• Monitor daily sales, POS reports, cash handling, and basic operational reports
• Oversee Zomato and Swiggy operations and resolve issues
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff performance
• Ensure SOPs are followed across all departments
• Resolve day-to-day staff and operational issues
• Provide regular updates and reports to ownership
• Identify problems and implement practical improvements to improve efficiency and sales

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience in café, restaurant, hospitality, or F&B operations
• Previous experience as Café Manager, Outlet Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Assistant Restaurant Manager preferred
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Ability to manage staff independently and resolve conflicts
• Good understanding of inventory, wastage, cost control, and daily operations
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic Excel/Google Sheets
• PetPooja experience is an advantage
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and hands-on
• Available to work weekends and public holidays
