Caretavya is a premium elderly home care startup based in Gurgaon, India. We send certified professionals directly to the homes of elderly parents — vitals monitoring, doctor visit assistance, medicine delivery, emotional support and daily care.

Role Purpose

As a Home Care Nurse at Caretavya, you will visit elderly clients at their homes across Gurgaon to deliver high-quality, dignified care. You are not just a nurse — you are the face of Caretavya to every family we serve. Your warmth, professionalism and reliability will directly determine how much a family trusts us.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

•   Administer injections and carry out basic medical procedures as prescribed

•   Monitor and record blood pressure, SpO2, pulse, temperature, BMI and body fat %

•   Prepare and submit a structured post-visit health report on WhatsApp to the family

•   Flag any concerning vitals or health changes immediately to the coordinator

Daily Support

•   Accompany elderly clients to doctor appointments and handle medicine shopping

•   Assist with medicine delivery and prescription management

•   Provide dignified assistance with personal care (bathing, grooming) when required

•   Offer emotional support and companionship during visits

Coordination & Documentation

•   Maintain accurate visit logs and update the Caretavya coordinator after every visit

•   Communicate any special requests or concerns from the client or family

•   Follow all Caretavya safety, hygiene and conduct protocols at all times

•   Wear the Caretavya uniform on every client visit without exception

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential

•   GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc Nursing degree

•   Valid nursing registration with Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council

•   Minimum 5 year of clinical experience (home care, hospital or clinic)

•   Comfortable with field-based work — travelling to client homes across Gurgaon

•   Basic proficiency in Hindi; English communication is a plus

Preferred

•   Prior experience in home care or elderly care settings

•   Familiar with geriatric conditions — hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, post-surgery care

•   Owns a two-wheeler (travel reimbursement provided)

•   Comfortable using WhatsApp for daily reporting and coordination

Working Hours & Conditions

Working hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (visits scheduled within this window)

Working days: 6 days a week (Sunday off, or rotational day off by arrangement)

Field-based: Travel between client homes in Gurgaon — sectors, DLF phases, Sohna Road, South City etc.

No on-call emergencies outside working hours.
