Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Transport Manager who is highly skilled in managing end-to-end logistics operations, transportation, dispatch, and Pan-India deliveries. The candidate should have strong knowledge of transport management, route planning, freight coordination, and timely delivery of materials across India.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end logistics and transportation operations across India.

* Handle Pan-India dispatch and delivery of materials to customers, dealers, and project sites.

* Coordinate with transporters, fleet owners, drivers, and logistics partners.

* Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

* Negotiate freight rates and manage transportation costs.

* Monitor vehicle movement, shipment status, delivery schedules, and PODs.

* Coordinate with the sales, dispatch, warehouse, and accounts teams.

* Ensure proper documentation including invoices, e-way bills, LR/GR, POD, and other transport documents.

* Track delays, shortages, damages, and transit-related issues and resolve them promptly.

* Maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and ensure availability of vehicles as required.

* Monitor transporter performance, delivery timelines, and service quality.

* Maintain logistics records, MIS reports, freight bills, and delivery data.

* Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations.

* Handle urgent and high-priority deliveries efficiently.

* Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

* Strong expertise in Logistics & Transportation Management.

* Excellent knowledge of Pan-India delivery operations.

* Strong knowledge of road transportation and freight management.

* Good understanding of dispatch, warehousing, and supply-chain processes.

* Strong transporter/vendor management skills.

* Excellent negotiation and coordination skills.

* Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and MIS reporting.

* Ability to manage multiple shipments and deliveries simultaneously.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

* Experience in handling construction materials, TMT/steel, or other heavy materials will be an advantage.
