Job Description
- Food Preparation & CookingAssist in the preparation and cooking of Continental cuisine as per standard recipes.
- Prepare mise en place (ingredients, sauces, garnishes, etc.) for daily operations.
- Cook dishes under the supervision of senior chefs ensuring consistency and taste.
- Maintain portion control and food presentation standards.
- Kitchen OperationsEnsure cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation.
- Follow all kitchen SOPs, including food safety and hygiene standards.
- Properly store food items to maintain freshness and minimize wastage.
- Assist in stock rotation (FIFO method) and inventory control.
- Quality & ComplianceAdhere to HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Team SupportWork collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Support senior chefs during busy service hours.
- Participate in training and learning sessions for skill development.
