Job Description:

The Lemon Bowl, a catering and plated home-food delivery brand based in Gurgaon, is hiring a Continental Chef de Partie (CDP) to independently run the Continental section of our kitchen. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in Continental cuisine — soups, salads, pastas, sauces, and grills/mains — and can maintain consistent quality across high-volume catering and daily delivery orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently run and manage the Continental section during service
• Prepare Continental dishes — soups, salads, pastas, sauces, grills, and mains — to standard recipes and portion sizes
• Plan mise-en-place and ensure section readiness ahead of service and catering events
• Maintain food quality, plating consistency, and taste standards across large-batch catering and daily delivery orders
• Supervise and guide Commis chefs working in the Continental section
• Monitor stock levels for the section and coordinate with the kitchen for timely indenting
• Follow FSSAI food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards at all times
• Support menu costing and portion control to minimize wastage
• Coordinate with the Sous Chef/Head Chef on new menu items and event-specific requirements

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience as a CDP/Demi CDP in Continental cuisine (hotel, restaurant, or catering kitchen)
• Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, sauces, and plating
• Ability to work under pressure during high-volume catering events
• Basic understanding of food costing and kitchen hygiene practices
• Team handling experience preferred
