Centre Phlebotomist

Job Overview:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our diagnostics team at Dr. P. Bhasin Path Labs (P) Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sample collection, patient handling, and maintaining high hygiene and quality standards in a diagnostic setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other specimens from patients at the diagnostic center with utmost care and hygiene
• Properly label and store samples for laboratory testing
• Maintain sample collection records and ensure correct patient identification
• Ensure timely dispatch of samples to the central lab
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control at the sample collection area
• Handle patients professionally and with empathy
• Follow all SOPs and NABL guidelines strictly
• Manage consumables and stock levels for sample collection
• Coordinate with lab staff for daily operational needs
• Address any patient queries related to sample collection or reports

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certification in Phlebotomy, DMLT,BMLT or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a diagnostic lab
• Excellent venipuncture skills
• Knowledge of lab safety procedures and NABL protocols
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Basic computer knowledge for entry and record-keeping
