Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and customer-focused Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and promoting our IT products and solutions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong understanding of the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, networking, referrals, and field visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, government organizations, and SMEs.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable IT hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, presentations, and business offers to prospective clients.
  • Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into successful sales closures.
  • Coordinate with procurement and technical teams to ensure product availability and successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities in CRM or reporting systems.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, networking events, and client meetings to promote company offerings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely payment follow-ups and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Cloud Services & Managed IT Solutions
  • Required SkillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and client relationship management abilities.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking, and surveillance products.
  • Ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close sales independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of quotation preparation, tender processes, and sales documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
  • Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • MBA (Marketing/Sales) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience1–5 years of experience in IT Sales, Business Development, Corporate Sales, B2B Sales, or Solution Selling.
  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in sales may also apply.
