Job Title: Business Development Manager – Doors & Windows Division
Location: Gurugram
Reporting To: Sales Director / Business Head
Experience: 3–10 years in Building Materials, Fenestration, Façade, Aluminum Systems, Doors & Windows, or Architectural Products
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion for our premium doors and windows business. The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with architects, builders, developers, consultants, fabricators, and homeowners while generating profitable business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
2. Generate leads through architects, builders, developers, contractors, and consultants.
3. Build a strong pipeline of projects from concept stage to order closure.
4. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
5. Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including:
- Architects
- Interior Designers
- Builders & Developers
- Project Management Consultants (PMCs)
- Façade Consultants
- Conduct regular client visits and presentations.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Project Tracking & Sales Conversion
- Track projects from design stage through execution.
- Coordinate with estimation, design, engineering, and operations teams.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability.
- Ensure timely order closure.
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Recommend new products and market strategies.
Channel Partner Development:
- Identify and appoint new dealers, distributors, and fabricator partners.
- Support channel partners through training and business development initiatives.
- Monitor dealer performance and profitability.
- CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and project status.
- Update CRM regularly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and annual sales revenue.
- New project opportunities generated.
- Conversion ratio of leads to orders.
- Value of project pipeline.
- Architect and builder engagement activities.
- Collection efficiency.
- Dealer and channel partner growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
Proven experience in doors, windows, aluminium systems, façade, glass, or building materials industry.
Strong understanding of architectural specifications and project sales.
Skills Required

- Project sales and specification selling expertise.

- Preferred Industry Experience
Experience with premium fenestration brands such as Tostem, Schüco, aluminium systems, uPVC windows, façade systems, architectural hardware, glass, or related building material products.
