Position Details

Job Title: Sales & Business Development Executive – Scaffolding Rental

Location: Delhi-NCR

Industry: Scaffolding and Construction Equipment Rental

Reporting To: Director 

Job Purpose

To drive new business for scaffolding rental services in Delhi-NCR by developing strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, builders, and project stakeholders, and converting those relationships into recurring rental revenue.

Job Description

The role is responsible for generating new business opportunities for scaffolding rental services across Delhi-NCR. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in sales and business development in scaffolding rental, formwork, construction equipment rental, or related B2B construction sales.

The candidate must have a strong network of contractors and subcontractors in the construction industry and should be comfortable with field sales, site visits, commercial discussions, follow-ups, and deal closure. The role also requires close coordination with operations, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth execution and timely collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business from contractors, subcontractors, builders, developers, and project sites in Delhi-NCR.

• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key decision-makers in the construction ecosystem.

• Visit ongoing and upcoming construction sites to identify scaffolding rental requirements.

• Understand technical and commercial requirements of clients and prepare appropriate proposals and quotations.

• Negotiate rental rates, commercial terms, payment terms, and order conditions.

• Convert leads into confirmed rental orders and achieve monthly business targets.

• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for timely delivery, erection support, shifting, and material retrieval.

• Follow up for payments and assist in collection of dues within agreed credit terms.

• Maintain daily visit reports, lead status, client database, and sales pipeline records.

• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, project movement, and new business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and business development in scaffolding rental or related construction rental business.

• Strong network of contractors, subcontractors, project managers, and civil construction contacts in Delhi-NCR.

• Good understanding of project-based selling and rental business cycles.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Comfortable with regular travel for site visits and customer meetings across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and disciplined in reporting and follow-up.

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with exposure to construction materials or equipment sales will be preferred.

• Generate new inquiries and convert them into scaffolding rental orders.

• Expand the company’s client base in the Delhi-NCR region.

2. Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with contractors, subcontractors, builders, and repeat customers.

• Improve repeat rental business through trust and service coordination.

3. Project and Site Coverage

• Ensure regular site visits and market mapping of existing and upcoming construction projects.

• Maintain active visibility in target construction clusters and industrial belts.

4. Revenue Achievement

• Achieve monthly and quarterly rental revenue targets.

• Improve quotation-to-order conversion performance.

5. Collection Support

• Support timely collection of payments from clients.

• Reduce overdue outstanding amounts and control credit risk.

6. Reporting and Coordination

• Maintain accurate reporting on leads, visits, proposals, orders, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate effectively with internal teams for service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates should already have active relationships with contractors and subcontractors in Delhi-NCR and should be capable of independently opening doors for rental business within the first 30 to 60 days.
