Pharmacy Purchase Manager
Company: 7 Hills Pharmacy
Location: Guntur
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Purchase Manager to handle centralized medicine procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and purchase operations across all pharmacy branches and the central warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily medicine purchases for all branches and the warehouse.
- Identify and coordinate with pharmaceutical distributors and suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive prices, discounts, schemes, and credit periods.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of medicines.
- Prevent overstocking, stock shortages, expiry, and dead stock.
- Plan purchases based on sales and inventory requirements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and compare market rates.
- Monitor purchase expenses and improve profit margins.
- Supervise the purchase team and coordinate with branch managers.
- Maintain purchase records and generate reports using Marg ERP.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Pharm or relevant qualification preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing.
- Good knowledge of medicines, distributors, and wholesale markets.
- Experience with Marg ERP or similar pharmacy software.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and management skills.
Salary
Negotiable based on experience and capabilities.
