ABOUT STERLING NEW HORIZONS

Sterling New Horizons Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing company producing toys, children’s books, educational products, games, printing, packaging, and consumer goods. We operate manufacturing and dispatch from Greater Noida, with processing operations in Delhi. Our brands include Koka (wooden & Montessori toys), Bloombox (developmental learning kits for ages 0–24 months), and a range of adult card games (High Rollers, Never Have I Ever). We serve domestic distributors, institutional buyers, and international retail partners including Dabdoob and Toys R Us Saudi Arabia in the GCC.

We are returning to the global children’s book fair circuit (Bologna, London, Frankfurt) and are building a 40-series international book catalogue. This is a company in active growth mode — not maintenance mode.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is the operational backbone of Sterling’s B2B sales engine. You will manage the entire order-to-dispatch cycle for distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers, while also supporting marketing activities that drive brand visibility and new business.

This is NOT a pure desk job and NOT a pure field sales role. It sits at the intersection — you will spend your mornings coordinating orders, samples, and logistics from the factory, and your afternoons following up with buyers, preparing quotations, and supporting trade marketing initiatives. You need to be equally comfortable on a call with a GCC retail buyer as you are tracking a shipment with the warehouse team.

You will handle all product lines: wooden toys (Koka), developmental kits (Bloombox), children’s books, board games, card games, compound toys, and custom printing/packaging orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — SALES COORDINATION (60%)

Order Management & Buyer Support

•      Manage the end-to-end B2B order cycle: receive purchase orders, confirm pricing and availability, coordinate production scheduling, track dispatch, and confirm delivery.

•      Prepare and send professional quotations, proforma invoices, and commercial offers to distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers.

•      Maintain the master order tracker — every live order, its status, expected dispatch date, and payment status at a glance.

•      Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are manufactured and dispatched on time — flag delays early.

•      Handle buyer queries on pricing, MOQs, product specifications, customisation options, and delivery timelines.

Distributor & Retail Partner Management

•      Be the primary point of contact for existing distributors and retail partners (domestic and GCC).

•      Maintain regular communication with key accounts — share new product launches, seasonal offers, and catalogue updates.

•      Track sell-through and reorder patterns at key retail partners to proactively suggest replenishment.

•      Coordinate sample dispatches for new buyer evaluations, trade fairs, and retail listing pitches.

•      Support the MD in managing GCC retail relationships (Dabdoob, Toys R Us Saudi) — preparing shipment documentation, commercial invoices, and compliance paperwork for exports.

New Business Development Support

•      Research and identify potential new distributors, retailers, institutional buyers, and e-commerce platforms for Sterling’s product lines.

•      Manage enquiries from B2B platforms (IndiaMart, TradeIndia, Alibaba India) — respond promptly, share catalogues, and convert to orders.

•      Prepare and maintain a CRM or lead tracker with all prospects, follow-up dates, and status.

•      Coordinate cold outreach campaigns — emails, calls, and WhatsApp to potential buyers with product catalogues and pricing.

•      Support pitch preparation for large institutional orders (schools, corporates, government tenders).

Pricing, Catalogue & Documentation

•      Maintain updated product catalogues (digital and print) across all product lines with current pricing, images, and specifications.

•      Prepare rate cards, discount structures, and MOQ sheets for different buyer categories (distributor, retailer, institutional).

•      Coordinate product photography and packaging artwork with the design team for catalogue and marketing use.

•      Maintain a pricing master that includes landed costs, margins, and competitive benchmarking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — MARKETING COORDINATION (40%)

Trade Marketing & Brand Visibility

•      Coordinate Sterling’s presence at domestic and international trade fairs — stall booking, sample selection, display materials, logistics, and follow-up.

•      Support book fair participation (Bologna, London, Frankfurt) — prepare catalogues, rights sheets, and display copies in coordination with the MD.

•      Manage B2B marketing materials: brochures, product sheets, company profile documents, presentation decks.

•      Coordinate with printers and designers for marketing collateral production (leveraging Sterling’s in-house printing capability).

Digital & Online Presence (B2B focused)

•      Manage and update Sterling’s product listings on B2B platforms: IndiaMart, TradeIndia, Alibaba India, and any future platforms.

•      Ensure product images, descriptions, pricing, and MOQ information are accurate and compelling across all platforms.

•      Support the company’s LinkedIn presence — coordinate posts about new product launches, trade fair participation, and business milestones.

•      Monitor competitor activity on B2B platforms — pricing, new launches, and positioning.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

•      Track and report monthly sales performance by product line, buyer category, and region.

•      Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports: new enquiries, quotations sent, orders confirmed, dispatches completed.

•      Monitor toy industry trends, competitor launches, and pricing movements — share relevant insights with the MD.

•      Maintain a competitor product database with pricing, packaging, and feature comparisons for key categories.

•      Track trade fair ROI — leads generated, orders converted, and cost per acquisition.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

•      This is NOT a pure field sales role where you travel daily. You are factory-based, managing sales operations. Occasional travel for trade fairs and distributor visits — not daily on-road selling.

•      This is NOT a digital marketing / social media manager role. While you’ll coordinate B2B digital presence, the focus is sales operations, not content creation.

•      This is NOT an order-taker role. You are expected to proactively identify opportunities, push for conversions, and suggest new channels and buyers.

•      This is NOT remote or work-from-home. You must be at the factory to coordinate production, samples, and dispatches.

WHAT WE OFFER

•      Direct involvement in building a multi-brand product company from the ground up — not maintaining someone else’s legacy.

•      Exposure to international retail (GCC), global book fairs (Bologna, London, Frankfurt), and export operations.

•      Work directly with the Managing Director — your ideas are heard, not buried in hierarchy.

•      Incentive structure tied to order value and new buyer acquisition — your effort directly impacts your earnings.

•      Opportunity to grow into a Sales Manager or Business Development Head as the company scales.

•      Learn multiple product categories: toys, books, games, educational products, packaging — a breadth of experience rare in a single role.

THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS ROLE

You are the right fit if you:

•      Are a natural hustler — you enjoy the chase of converting an enquiry into an order.

•      Can write a professional email to a Dubai retail buyer at 10 AM and negotiate pricing with a Sadar Bazaar distributor at 3 PM — and be equally effective in both.

•      Get restless when orders are stuck and proactively push production, logistics, and buyers to keep things moving.

•      Are curious about products — you want to understand what makes a good toy, a good book, a good game, because it makes you sell better.

•      Are comfortable with numbers — margins, landed costs, MOQs, freight calculations don’t intimidate you.

•      Take pride in a well-maintained tracker, a clean catalogue, and a pipeline that’s always up to date.

You are NOT the right fit if you:

•      Want to only do marketing without touching sales operations or logistics.

•      Are uncomfortable calling buyers, following up, and occasionally hearing “no.”

•      Need everything spelled out — this role requires initiative, not instruction-following.

•      See factory-based work as unglamorous. The magic happens where products are made.

HOW TO APPLY

Send your updated CV along with:

•      Current CTC and expected CTC

•      Current notice period / earliest joining date

•      Current residential location

•      Briefly mention the product categories or industries you’ve sold in (B2B)

Residents of Greater Noida, Noida, and Ghaziabad are strongly preferred.
