Store Manager – Retail Stationery Store (PORVORIM)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stationery store. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with excellent customer service skills, the ability to drive sales, and experience in managing retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.

- Lead, train, motivate, and supervise the store team.

- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly.

- Achieve monthly sales targets and maximize store profitability.

- Monitor stock levels, inventory, and coordinate timely replenishment.

- Ensure attractive product displays and maintain merchandising standards.

- Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.

- Maintain cleanliness, store discipline, and operational efficiency.

- Prepare staff duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure punctuality.

- Prevent stock losses through proper inventory control and regular stock audits.

- Coordinate with the warehouse and head office for smooth store operations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

- Analyze sales performance and suggest ideas to improve revenue.

Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

- Good knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.

- Basic computer knowledge and experience with billing/POS software.

- Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.

- Honest, disciplined, proactive, and result-oriented.
