Job Description
ob Summary
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electrical Technician for machine wiring, electrical panel wiring, machine installation, troubleshooting and commissioning of industrial automation and Special Purpose Machines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical wiring of machines and control panels as per electrical drawings.
Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and panel drawings.
Carry out control wiring, power wiring and field wiring.
Install and connect sensors, switches, solenoid valves, motors, contactors, relays, SMPS and other electrical components.
Perform wiring and installation of VFDs, servo drives, motors and control devices.
Assist automation engineers during PLC, HMI, servo and VFD commissioning.
Check electrical connections, continuity, insulation and proper earthing.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines and automation systems.
Identify and rectify wiring, sensor, motor and control-circuit problems.
Support machine testing, trials and commissioning.
Assist in installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Maintain electrical tools, wiring materials and work areas.
Follow electrical safety procedures and company quality standards.
Coordinate with mechanical and automation teams during machine integration.
Qualification
ITI – Electrician / Wireman preferred.
Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering will be an added advantage.
1–5 years of relevant industrial experience preferred.
Candidates with experience in machine wiring or industrial automation will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical wiring.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Knowledge of control panels and machine wiring.
Basic knowledge of PLC inputs/outputs and industrial sensors.
Knowledge of motors, contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, SMPS and VFDs.
Basic understanding of servo motors and servo drives is an advantage.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use a multimeter and other electrical testing instruments.
Willingness to travel for customer-site installation and commissioning.
