Barista Helper

We’re seeking a passionate, some experience would be a top up, a skilled helper to our Barista, getting trained and staying behind the bar, he will be mentored by our barista to enhance his skills and learn new ones as well, and ensure exceptional coffee quality and customer service at all times. You will play a key role in maintaining our standards, developing drink menus, and driving a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks consistently
• Ensure daily operations of the coffee bar run smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve guest issues with professionalism
• Train and mentor new and junior baristas
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and bar areas
• Collaborate on seasonal drink menus and specials
• Uphold all health, safety, and food handling regulations
• Act as shift leader when required, opening or closing the shop

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Expert knowledge of espresso machines and brewing methods (V60, Chemex, etc.)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Passion for specialty coffee and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Barista certification (e.g., SCA)
• Latte art skills
• Experience in creating coffee recipes or signature drinks
• Basic knowledge of café operations and inventory
