Assembly Fitter

An Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling machine parts, equipment, and components as per technical drawings and specifications. The role involves ensuring proper fitting, alignment, functionality, and quality of finished products while adhering to safety and production standards.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines
• Ensure proper alignment, tolerance, and fitting of parts
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments efficiently
• Conduct quality checks and basic functional testing of assembled units
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and defects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean working area
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain records of work completed and report progress
