Welder

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Arc, and other welding techniques as required.

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, equipment, and components.

Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.

Ensure welds meet quality standards and project specifications.

Inspect completed welds for defects and perform necessary repairs.

Operate welding machines, cutting equipment, and hand tools safely.

Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance requirements.

Measure and mark materials accurately before fabrication.

Collaborate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet project deadlines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Record completed work and report progress to supervisors.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of fabricated equipment when required.
