PLC & Industrial Communication Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled PLC Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain industrial automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, industrial communication protocols, and machine integration. The role involves working closely with production, maintenance, and software teams to deliver reliable automation systems and Industry 4.0 solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial machines and production lines.
• Configure and commission PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
• Integrate machine data with monitoring systems, databases, and Industry 4.0 platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and communication-related issues.
• Perform machine commissioning, startup, and on-site support activities.
• Develop HMI screens, alarms, reports, and data logging functions.
• Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, RS232, and RS485.
• Work with sensors, encoders, temperature controllers, flow meters, and other industrial devices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with software developers and IoT teams for real-time production monitoring and automation projects.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and best practices.
