Motor Winder / Industrial Electrician

AA Industries is hiring an experienced Motor Winder for full-time work at our manufacturing facility. The primary requirement is strong hands-on experience in rewinding and repairing industrial electric motors used in factory machinery.

The candidate should be able to independently dismantle, inspect, rewind, assemble, test, and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase motors. Experience with industrial electrical maintenance will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rewind single-phase and three-phase electric motors.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble motors.
• Identify burnt windings, insulation failure, overheating, short circuits, and other motor faults.
• Carry out coil winding, insulation, connection, varnishing, and final testing.
• Check motor windings using multimeter, clamp meter, and megger.
• Replace bearings, terminals, cables, and related motor components where required.
• Diagnose recurring motor failures and identify possible causes such as overload, voltage imbalance, phase loss, bearing problems, or improper connections.
• Maintain records of motor repairs and rewinding work.
• Support urgent motor breakdown requirements from production.

Electrical maintenance experience is a plus, particularly in:

• Three-phase motor wiring and connections
• DOL and star-delta starters
• Contactors and relays
• Overload relays
• MCB/MCCB and fuse systems
• Machine control panels
• Panel wiring and troubleshooting
• Solenoids
• Limit switches and proximity sensors
• Machine electrical breakdowns
• Preventive electrical maintenance

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong practical motor rewinding experience is mandatory.
• Experience with industrial motors used in manufacturing machinery.
• ITI Electrician / Electrical or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on motor faults and rewinding jobs.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred but not mandatory.
