Machine Maintenance Electrician

AA Industries is hiring an experienced Industrial Machine Electrician for full-time electrical maintenance of production machinery and factory electrical systems.

The candidate should be highly hands-on and able to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain machine electrical faults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in lathe machines, drilling machines, tapping machines, grinding machines, power presses, and other industrial machinery.
• Handle three-phase motors, motor wiring, motor connections, and motor fault diagnosis.
• Perform motor rewinding and related motor repair work.
• Repair and maintain electrical control panels.
• Work with contactors, relays, overload relays, timers, MCBs, MCCBs, fuses, and control circuits.
• Diagnose and repair DOL and star-delta starter circuits.
• Handle solenoids, limit switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, emergency stops, and machine interlocks.
• Trace machine wiring faults, short circuits, phase loss, earth faults, and repeated tripping issues.
• Use multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical testing instruments to diagnose faults.
• Carry out preventive electrical maintenance to reduce breakdowns and machine downtime.
• Replace damaged cables, terminals, switches, relays, contactors, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Handle basic VFD troubleshooting and motor-control issues where applicable.
• Identify unsafe wiring, overheating, loose connections, and other electrical risks before they cause breakdowns.
• Maintain basic records of electrical breakdowns and critical spare parts.

Candidate Requirements:

• ITI Electrician or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4–5 years of industrial machine electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with three-phase motors and motor rewinding.
• Strong knowledge of machine control panels and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with solenoids, relays, contactors, sensors, motor starters, and industrial electrical components.
• Ability to independently identify and repair machine electrical faults.
• Experience in machining, engineering, automotive components, metal components, or similar manufacturing industries preferred.

This is a hands-on factory maintenance role. Candidates with primarily residential or commercial wiring experience will not be suitable.
