Job Description
- 1. Operations ManagementOversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch
- Ensure production targets are met as per planning and customer requirements
- Optimize plant productivity, efficiency, and utilization of resources
- 2. Production Planning & ControlDevelop and implement production schedules
- Monitor daily production reports and resolve bottlenecks
- Ensure minimum downtime and smooth workflow
- 3. Quality AssuranceEnsure adherence to quality standards and company policies
- Implement quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Address customer complaints and ensure corrective actions
- 4. Team Leadership & HR CoordinationLead and manage plant staff including supervisors, engineers, and workers
- Monitor employee performance, discipline, and training needs
- Coordinate with HR for hiring, attendance, and workforce management
- 5. Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with statutory and environmental regulations
- 6. Cost Control & BudgetingMonitor operational costs and implement cost-saving measures
- Control wastage, inventory, and material usage
- Prepare and manage plant budgets
- 7. Maintenance & Equipment ManagementEnsure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- 8. Inventory & Supply Chain CoordinationManage raw materials, finished goods, and inventory levels
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- 9. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare MIS reports on production, efficiency, and performance
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Report plant performance to top management
- Key Skills Required:Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Good communication and team management
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
