CNC Machine Operator

Job brief

We are looking for a competent CNC Operator to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions..

Responsibilities

·      Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, turning, facing etc.

·      Check routine maintenance and fill up the maintenance report.

·      Keep the area clean and maintain 5S and wear PPE kit all the time.

·      Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings etc.

·      Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

·      Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications and get it verified by Quality department before the production starts by reporting to floor in-charge and/or supervisor.

·      Inspect each part once the set-up / cycle is completed and fill up the inspection report.

·      Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Requirements and skills

·      Working experience as CNC operator in any mechanical/ Auto sector

·      Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.

·      Can Use Instruments such as Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauges, Plunger Dial Etc.

·      Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

·      Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
