Job PurposeWe are looking for a skilled Industrial Spray Painter & Blaster to handle surface preparation and high-quality coating application on heavy machinery, structural steel, or automotive components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating airless spray equipment and grit/sandblasting machinery to ensure high-quality, corrosion-resistant finishes.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSurface Preparation: Perform shot blasting, grit blasting, or sandblasting to clean metal surfaces, removing rust, scale, and old paint according to industrial standards (SSPC/ISO).
• Paint Application: Mix and apply industrial primers, epoxy coatings, and polyurethane (PU) paints using airless and conventional spray guns.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, nozzles, pumps, pressure tanks, and blasting equipment to avoid downtime.
• Quality Check: Measure wet and dry film thickness (WFT/DFT) using gauges to ensure compliance with technical specifications. Inspect finished products for defects like runs, sags, or uneven coats.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow industrial safety norms, including the correct use of PPE (Air-fed hoods, respirators, safety shoes) while working in painting booths or confined spaces.
• Required Technical SkillsHands-on experience with Airless Spray Painting and Grit/Sandblasting machinery.
• Good understanding of paint mixing ratios (base, hardener, and thinner dilution).
• Familiarity with industrial coatings like Epoxy, PU, and primers.
• Basic knowledge of surface preparation standards.
• Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: 10th Pass / ITI in Painter Trade preferred (but open to candidates with solid practical experience).
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle heavy equipment and operate efficiently in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Ready to work in rotational shifts if required by production needs.
