Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a sharp, organized Assistant Accountant to work directly under our Head Accountant. In this role, you will handle day-to-day financial operations specific to steel trading, alongside managing individual banking activities and routine account maintenance.

​Core Responsibilities

​Trading Account Maintenance: Record and track high-value steel trade transactions, verify supplier invoices against delivery notes, and maintain precise digital ledgers.

​Individual Banking & Treasury: Handle daily banking activities, including processing bank transfers, managing letters of credit (LCs) common in trading, and reconciling multi-currency bank statements.

​Ledger & Account Reconciliation: Routinely reconcile customer and vendor accounts to ensure all trade receivables and payables are accurately reflected.

​Head Accountant Support: Assist the Head Accountant with monthly balance sheets, inventory valuation tracking, and preparing documentation for tax compliance.

​Key Requirements

​Experience: 1–3 years in accounting, ideally within a trading, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

​Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and standard accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP); basic understanding of trade-related banking instruments.

​Attributes: High numerical accuracy, trustworthiness with banking data, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
