AO+ Advisory Services is the dedicated Accounting Outsourcing Division of M/s Korah & Korah, Chartered Accountants, established to provide high-quality bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, taxation support, and compliance services for Australian businesses and accounting firms.

We are currently expanding our team in Cochin and are looking for passionate, detail-oriented, and growth-focused professionals to join our team as a Senior Associate – Australian Accounting & Outsourcing

1.     Role Summary

Will be responsible for handling complex accounting assignments, reviewing work completed by junior accountants, ensuring quality control, and supporting Australian accounting and compliance engagements.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior outsourcing or CA firm experience who are looking to build a long-term career in accounting outsourcing services.

2.     Key Responsibilities

·     Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entity types

·     Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance reports

·     Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions

·     Review GST, BAS, payroll, and reconciliations

·     Review and supervise work completed by Associates

·     Building strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and practical advice

·     Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards

·     Support external accountants and tax agents

·     Train and mentor junior staff members

·     Supporting senior managers with business advisory and structuring matters

·     Reviewing client records and identifying tax, accounting and compliance issues

·     Assisting with tax planning and year-end tax matters

·     Managing workflow and deadlines across a portfolio of clients

·     Work with Australian accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks

3.     Preferred Qualifications

·       B.Com / M.Com and;

·       CA/CMA Inter or Qualified CA/CMA or CPA Australia

4.     Experience Required

·     3 – 5 years of accounting / outsourcing / CA firm experience

·     Exposure to Australian bookkeeping or accounting preferred

·     Experience using cloud accounting systems

·     Prior review or supervisory experience

·     Previous Australian accounting experience highly preferred

5.     Mandatory Skills

·     Strong accounting fundamentals

·     Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·     Good communication and interpersonal skills

·     Attention to detail and analytical thinking

·     Team management capability

·     Strong time management and problem-solving skills

·     Hands-on experience in Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar accounting software

6.     Compensation

₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month for 1st Year

7.     Work Details

·       Location: Office of Korah & Korah, Chartered Accountants

·       Mode: Work From Office

·       Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

·       Division: AO+ Advisory Services – Australia Accounting Outsourcing Division
