Job Description

  • Strong QS background in CSA and MEP works, well-versed with IS 1200 and contract billing procedures.
  • Heavy structural steel experience essential; semiconductor Fab project exposure preferred.
  • Working proficiency in Tekla (steel), AutoCAD/BIM (civil-architectural) and Advanced Excel.
  • Capable of independently reviewing quantities, commercial terms and payment entitlements — not just measurement checking.
  • Verify contractor measurements/quantities for CSA, MEP and Structural Steel against site supporting documents, IS 1200 and contract terms (BOQ, specs, variation clauses).
  • Take off and validate quantities from Tekla models (steel) and CAD/BIM models (civil-architectural).
  • Review commercial terms, payment conditions, recoveries and variations; recommend payable amounts with clear supporting justification.
  • Flag quantity deviations, duplications, over-claims and contractual non-compliance; coordinate with CSA/MEP teams to avoid overlap.
  • Prepare and maintain billing formats, quantity abstracts and bill tracking/ageing registers as per formats we finalize.
  • Submit weekly MIS — bills received/verified, value recommended, pending items, TAT compliance, key observations — plus monthly status reporting and escalation of unresolved issues.
