Position: Assistant Manager – Sales

About the RoleGravita India Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales to drive B2B sales and business development for its recycled metal and industrial raw material products. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial sales, key account management, and developing long-term relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and corporate customers.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDrive B2B sales and acquire new customers for Gravita's recycled lead, aluminium, plastic, and other value-added products.
  • Develop business with battery manufacturers, automotive companies, cable manufacturers, electrical equipment companies, and other industrial customers.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable product solutions by highlighting Gravita's quality, sustainability, and cost advantages.
  • Meet procurement teams, purchase heads, plant heads, and key decision-makers to generate business opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, pricing negotiations, and technical presentations.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Track leads, customer interactions, and sales pipeline through CRM.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and operations teams for timely order execution and customer support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and raw material pricing to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop territory-wise business plans and expand Gravita's customer base across assigned regions.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications8–10 years of experience in B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Corporate Sales, or Business Development.
  • Experience in metals, recycling, battery industry, industrial raw materials, chemicals, manufacturing, or allied sectors will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles and key account management.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage strategic customer relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close high-value B2B deals.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience in selling Lead, Aluminium, Copper, Plastic Granules, Battery Materials, Industrial Metals, Chemicals, or similar industrial products.
  • Existing network with OEMs, battery manufacturers, automotive companies, cable manufacturers, electrical industries, or large manufacturing organizations.

Strong understanding of industrial procurement processes and B2B relationship management.
