Job Description
Generate new business through cold calling, references, networking, and market visits.
Identify and approach potential customers requiring freight forwarding and logistics services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
Prepare and share quotations and coordinate with the operations team for pricing.
Follow up with prospective clients and convert leads into business.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipments, rates, and service requirements.
Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, Customer Service, and Documentation teams to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, meetings, quotations, and conversions in the CRM.
Ensure timely collection/payment follow-ups wherever required.
Participate in client meetings and business development activities.
