Receptionist Cum Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

​Patient Flow & Scheduling:

​Manage daily appointment rosters, walk-in traffic, and follow-up schedules.

​Direct patients to appropriate consultation rooms, diagnostic labs, or billing counters to keep wait times low.

​Administrative Coordination:

​Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) or hospital management software (HMS).

​Coordinate physician schedules, leave requests, and room allocations.

​Liaise with diagnostic departments (X-ray, lab tests, pharmacy) for quick turnaround on report deliveries.

​Patient Care & Support:

​Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, feedback, or complaints during their OPD visit.

​Assist elderly, differently-abled, or critically ill patients with priority navigation.

​Clearly communicate consultation guidelines, prep steps for medical tests, and billing procedures.

​Departmental Support:

​Track daily patient counts, registration data, and departmental reports for management review.

​Ensure consultation rooms are well-stocked with essential forms, supplies, and working equipment before clinic hours start.
