Sourcing & Vendor Evaluation: Research potential suppliers, request bids, and evaluate them based on pricing, quality, delivery times, and reliability

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and transport costs to secure the best possible return on investment

Order Processing & Tracking: Review requisitions, generate purchase orders (POs), and track shipments to guarantee timely fulfillment. 

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses and reorder supplies as necessary

Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate databases of orders, invoices, and payments, and prepare cost analysis reports

Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries and resolve any discrepancies, faulty items, or incorrect shipments directly with the vendor
