Job Description
- Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians with pelvic exams, Pap smears, colposcopies, and minor surgical procedures.
- Pre- & Post-Operative Care: Prepare patients for gynaecological surgeries, verify informed consent, and monitor recovery.
- Patient Education: Counsel women on reproductive health, contraception, fertility, menopause, and menstrual hygiene.
- Diagnostic Support: Screen for conditions such as STIs and breast health issues.
- Care Coordination: Act as a patient advocate and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sensitive, individualized care plans. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
