About us SS Expo is a garment and home textiles manufacturer-exporter established in 1984, supplying buyers across Europe, USA, Latin America and Africa. Our range covers women's western and ethnic wear — dresses, co-ord sets, kaftans, pants — and home textiles including terry and bamboo towels.

The role You will own confirmed export orders end to end, from order handover to shipment. Buyer relationships and negotiation stay with the VP – Sales; execution is entirely yours. This is a role for someone who can run orders independently without daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take handover of confirmed orders and prepare the TNA; drive every milestone to date
• Sampling: proto, fit, salesman, PP and TOP — coordinate with the sampling team and chase approvals
• Fabric consumption calculation, indent preparation, booking with mills, and delivery follow-up
• Lab dips, strike-offs, handloom and bulk fabric approvals
• Trims and accessories — sourcing, approval, and timely in-house
• Production follow-up across cutting, stitching, washing, finishing and packing
• Coordinate inline and final inspections; drive corrective action on quality issues
• Prepare and maintain cost sheets, order sheets, spec sheets, and packing details
• Coordinate with logistics and CHA on shipment planning and documentation
• Daily and weekly status reporting on all running orders

Requirements

• 3–6 years as a merchandiser with a garment export house or buying house
• Strong working knowledge of woven fabrics — cotton, double gauze, linen, viscose, Tencel; terry towel experience an advantage
• Able to calculate fabric consumption and build a cost sheet independently
• Confident handling mills, dyeing units, job workers and trim vendors
• Solid Excel skills and clean documentation habits
• Good written English — you will be preparing documents that reach overseas buyers
• Organised, persistent, and able to run multiple orders in parallel without being reminded
