## Helper – Loading & Unloading

*Department:* Warehouse / Dispatch

*Designation:* Loading & Unloading Helper

*Location:* Jiyo Raw Unit / Warehouse

*Reporting To:* Warehouse / Dispatch Supervisor

*Employment Type:* Full-Time

### Job Purpose

To assist in the safe and efficient *loading, unloading, shifting, stacking and handling of raw materials, finished goods, bottles, cartons and other warehouse materials*, while maintaining cleanliness and proper arrangement of the warehouse.

### Key Responsibilities

1. *Loading & Unloading*

  * Load and unload raw materials, finished products, cartons, bottles, jars, oil containers and other goods.

  * Handle materials carefully to prevent breakage, leakage, damage or contamination.

  * Assist drivers and warehouse staff during vehicle loading and unloading.

  * Ensure goods are properly secured before dispatch.

2. *Material Shifting & Stacking*

  * Move materials between the warehouse, production area and dispatch area.

  * Stack cartons, bottles, bags and other materials safely at designated locations.

  * Follow instructions regarding FIFO/FEFO and proper storage wherever applicable.

  * Keep aisles and movement areas clear.

3. *Warehouse Support*

  * Assist the warehouse team in counting and checking materials during loading/unloading.

  * Report damaged, leaking, short or excess material immediately to the supervisor.

  * Help maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the loading/unloading area.

  * Assist in arranging empty cartons, bottles, pallets and packaging materials.

4. *Dispatch Support*

  * Help prepare orders for dispatch as instructed by the dispatch/warehouse team.

  * Match physical goods with the instructions given by the supervisor.

  * Ensure products are handled carefully during vehicle loading.

  * Assist in unloading returned or rejected goods.

5. *Safety & Discipline*

  * Follow all warehouse and safety instructions.

  * Use appropriate lifting and handling techniques.

  * Do not throw, drag or mishandle products.

  * Immediately report any accident, breakage, leakage or unsafe condition.

  * Maintain punctuality, discipline and proper workplace behaviour.

### Daily Duties

* Report on time and check the day's loading/unloading schedule.

* Assist in receiving incoming materials.

* Shift and stack materials in designated locations.

* Assist in dispatch loading.

* Keep loading/unloading areas clean.

* Inform the supervisor about damaged or missing goods.

* Complete all assigned work before leaving the shift.

### Required Skills & Qualifications

* *Education:* No minimum formal qualification required.

* Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials.

* Able to follow instructions properly.

* Responsible and hardworking.

* Basic ability to count and identify cartons/materials.

* Previous warehouse/loading experience will be preferred.

### Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Safe and timely loading/unloading.

* Zero avoidable product/material damage.

* Proper stacking and warehouse housekeeping.

* Accuracy in handling dispatched/received goods.

* Punctuality and attendance.

* Following supervisor instructions and safety procedures.

### Working Conditions

* Work involves physical activity, lifting and movement of materials.

* May require working in warehouse, production and loading/unloading areas.

* Overtime may be required during heavy dispatch or receiving schedules, as per company policy.

### Authority & Responsibility

The employee is responsible for the *safe physical handling of company materials and goods* entrusted to him during loading, unloading and shifting.

*Important:* Any deliberate damage, theft, unauthorized removal, or mishandling of company material will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter.
