FIELD DESKTOP ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Overview
M Intergraph Systems Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Field Desktop Engineer with strong hands-on hardware experience.
The candidate will provide on-site technical support, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops and laptops.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, SMPS, etc.
- Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Provide on-site technical support to clients/users.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, software, drivers, and basic networking issues.
- Perform hardware replacement, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain proper records of service requests, repairs, and equipment.
- Coordinate with the technical team to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Desktop Support / Hardware Engineer / Field Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience in computer hardware troubleshooting is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations within Bangalore.
Candidates with strong field support and hardware troubleshooting experience will be preferred
