Cook / Chef

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Chef who is passionate about preparing high-quality fast food while maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing pizzas, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and other quick-service menu items.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve pizzas, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, fries, wraps, and other QSR menu items as per company recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation.
• Follow all Kitchen SOPs and standard recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI food safety guidelines.
• Perform daily opening and closing kitchen checklists.
• Plan daily ingredient requirements based on expected sales.
• Monitor inventory and raise purchase requisitions on time.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper stock rotation.
• Minimize food wastage through effective planning and portion control.
• Check the quality and freshness of all raw materials before use.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Keep all workstations, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with the Front Office team to ensure timely order preparation and customer satisfaction.
• Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of pizza, burger, pasta, sandwich, and snack preparation.
• Experience working in a QSR, café, food court, or restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Understanding of kitchen inventory management and purchase planning.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts (Preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a QSR or restaurant kitchen.
