Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to set up and operate manual lathe machines to shape metal and other materials according to technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and operate lathe machines (turning, threading, boring).
- Read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
- Check finished parts using measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers).
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of experience as a Lathe Operator/Turner.
- Education: ITI Certification in Machinist/Turner trade (preferred).
- Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
